Dr. Shirin Yasrebi

Dr. Shirin Yasrebi has been providing comprehensive pediatric dental care since 1992, making her an expert in caring for all of the oral healthcare needs of your child. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Miami and her dental degree from Columbia University in New York. Dr. Yasrebi went on to complete her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Yasrebi is
a member of professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Polk County Dental Associations among many others. To stay up to date with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry, she attends numerous education seminars and programs each year. Dr. Yasrebi, who has resided in the Lakeland area since 1972, enjoys spending her free time with her family. Dr. Yasrebi is dedicated to providing your child with the best dental care available.

Dr. Ilan Abramowitz
Orthodontist
Dr. Abramowitz obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA (1998), and received his D.M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine (2004). In 2006, he completed a 2-year comprehensive orthodontic specialty training program at Jacksonville University.
His first three years of orthodontics were practiced in Orlando, with a key innovator in the international orthodontic community. As a certified Invisalign® and Damon System provider, Dr. Abramowitz is committed to providing the highest quality, and the most technologically advanced orthodontic treatment available.
Dr. Abramowitz is well versed in the implementation of TADs (temporary anchorage devices) and laser technology, to maximize treatment outcomes. His professional affiliations include the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the West Coast Dental Association, and the Polk County Dental Association.
Dr. Abramowitz’s wife Dory, whom he met in dental school, just completed advanced orthodontic training. They have two sons, Aiden and Jared.

Dr. Hector Vila
Anesthesiologist
Dr. Hector Vila received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 1989 and completed a 3-year residency in Anesthesia at the University of South Florida, where he received advanced training in Pediatric Anesthesia. At graduation he was the recipient of the Dripps Award for outstanding resident. He was certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in 1994.
Dr. Hector Vila is nationally renowned for his work to improve the quality of care in ambulatory and office based anesthesia. Dr. Vila has served as chair of the South Carolina Medical Association Taskforce for Office Surgery Guidelines. He was lead author of the study, “A Comparative Outcomes Analysis of Procedures Performed in Physician Offices and Ambulatory Surgery Centers”. Abstracts of this study received international awards and attracted national media attention. He was quoted in US News and World Report, CNN, Good Morning America, and numerous other media. He is considered an expert in the area of patient safety.
Dr. Vila is a Board of Medicine Office Inspector. He is currently the chair of the American Society of Anesthesiologists Ambulatory Committee and is on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He has been asked to speak nationally and internationally on office surgery safety. Dr. Vila has been voted one of the Best Doctors in America, 2005, 2006, and 2007.
